I love my sessions with baby girls so much, probably mostly because I only have boys. There is just nothing sweeter than a little girly girl! Ashley was absolutely one of the sweetest and cutest baby girls I’ve ever laid eyes on. She looks just like her beautiful mother. Her mother is the sister of one of my brides from this past year and I couldn’t wait until Ashley was born because I knew she would be just as cute as she is! If you want a fun blog to read you must check out her blog which is all about the adventures of a first time parent, I’m sure we can all relate. The funniest entry is “endcaps aren’t just for lightbulbs anymore.” I was dying laughing when I read it.
I hope you all enjoy a few of the pictures from today’s session.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here are a few pictures of my family on Thanksgiving. There’s even one of me which you don’t get to see a lot but I thought it would be good to show you all who’s on the other side of the camera. =)
Zakk was up early and ready to eat and party!

Jett wanted no part of the camera today… or any day for that matter. But my husband snagged this one of him when he was out playing in the yard. I’m so not used to the sky looking like this in November. This time of year I really start to miss Utah!

The face behind the camera.

My favorite part of the day was watching Gavin decorate the Christmas cookies. He had so much fun and put WAY too much sugar on, but don’t worry he licked it all off before eating them. =)

Zakk getting some Daddy love…… and this is one of my favorite pictures from the day!

I just have to!!!
I’ve been all smiles today once I saw the picture that I took for the Chloe Collection on the dress tag!! I shot this picture almost a year ago and the dress line was just barely released this fall. It’s so crazy how far in advance things have to be done in the clothing business. These dresses are so amazingly beautiful, it just makes me want a baby girl so badly.
So please share in my excitement….. here is the Isobella & Chloe dress tag. YAAAAY!!!!!

This month has gone so fast, I can’t believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Many people know that I will be taking most of December off to spend with my family. We will also be going to Utah for a family vacation between the 14th through the 21st. Due to this reason I will need all print orders to be in before the 6th of December if you’d like to get your prints before Christmas. If any print orders are made after this time I cannot gaurantee that you will receive them before Christmas.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!!!! And if you want to have a big laugh visit http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=9562247792 and see me and my boys dancing like fools. I seriously laughed so hard that I cried when I first saw this. What I don’t understand about this is why I’m the worst dancer of all and why my step son has a prettier elf body than I do. =)

Back to back families this weekend. =) I found the coolest new location for this session. We headed down to the train station in Claremont and it was so much fun. It was actually my first time at a train station and actually I’ve never even seen the Metro Link close up before. This little girl had never seen it either and was so excited! She was a little scared to be on the tracks and I must admit that I was too but she did a great job. The last shot is her expression when she first saw the train coming. I love how happy she looks!

I have been having so much fun lately with all the family sessions. It’s so great seeing families get all dressed up and happy to be together. Or at least pretend to be happy to be together. It’s so funny that when kids reach a certain age they just really don’t like to have their picture taken. My kids reach that age once they are born because I shove the camera in their faces every two seconds. The good thing is that with everyone elses kids I can get smiles out of them because they aren’t tired of seeing the camera and aren’t completely sick of my jokes and funny faces. These kids today were great sports about smiling for me, it didn’t last long but just enough time to get some really good shots. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys soon, I hope you like the pictures!

So what makes going to sleep at 2:00 in the morning and then getting woken up again at 3:00 by a crying baby and then getting up at 7:00 in the morning and having to iron a shirt and make breakfast for kids worth it? Bath Desserts is what made it worth it for me this morning! I have never in my life smelled anything so good and my skin has never felt so soft. And I’m not just saying this because I was hired to do the product photos, which I probably would have said something good about them even if they weren’t that great. But this is no lie, this product is the best thing that I have ever put on my skin. After my shower I felt so refreshed and revived and I can definitely say that I smell better than I’ve ever smelled before. If you are a mom, which I’m sure most of the people who read my blog are, you know how important your time in the shower is. It’s one of the rare times that you can be away from the kids and have a moment to yourself. It really does pay off to give yourself a treat!
So where can you get this amazing piece of heaven in a bottle? Visit www.bath-desserts.com and try some for yourself. Soon the website will be redone with the pictures I’m taking but for now here is a recent shot I took of the Cranberry Harvest collection which is what I used today. If you’re looking for a perfect Christmas gift look no further.

And if you like baths you’ll love their bath fizz balls and bath sprinkles!

With the Holiday Portraits in full effect and because I fell asleep early the other night and lost a full night of work I had to pull a very late night last night. So with the help of two Red Bulls, a Starbucks Frappuccino drink, popcorn, and Knocked Up I made it through the night and finished four out of a hundred things I needed to do. I will be in for another late night tonight but I do plan on doing something fun with my kids tomorrow to make up for all the time I’ve been spending working. So if you are trying to call me and don’t get an answer please leave a message and I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I’m still here, I’m just extremely exhausted and trying to meet all my deadlines. =)

I know I’m a camera nerd for taking a picture of my drinks but lack of sleep can make people do very strange things late at night. =)

I am a little bit behind in Blogging, It’s just been a crazy Holiday season so far. In between shooting and processing I’m trying to make time for my own family which can sometimes be hard. Usually my only time to work is after the little ones go to sleep. Well last night after I put my 5 month old down in his crib I told myself I was only going to lay down for five minutes and then head down to the computer to work. The next thing I know I was waking up in the middle of the night because of a screaming two year old who wanted a bottle, or “baba” as he calls it. Now, even though I got 11 hours of sleep last night (which is the most I’ve gotten in years) I still feel exhausted today.
Anyway, here is a little sneak peek of the Gaytan family. Plus grandma and brother and brother’s girlfriend. =) It was a fun session with one of my favorite families! I’m so sorry it’s three days late guys, I promise that your gallery won’t be late. Enjoy!!

This Sunday baby Jenna was baptised at the Sacred Heart Church in Covina. It was such a beautiful ceremony, I felt so honored to be a part of this special day. Enjoy the sneak peek of Jenna’s baptism pictures. Just look how gorgeous she is and how amazing her beautiful white dress was.

The day is almost here! This Saturday I will be at O2B Me in Rancho Cucamonga from 12-3:00 doing mini sessions for holiday portraits. The best thing is that there will be no session fee. All you pay for is the prints that you want to buy. And if you purchase over $50 worth of pictures you will receive 50% off a regular session fee to use next year anytime before May.
I will not be taking any more sessions for the remainder of the year so this will be your only chance to get pictures before Christmas. Please email me or call me to get more information.
Hope to see you all there!

I was so excited for Leia to turn one. I’ve been photographing this beautiful baby girl since she was 6 months old and ever since our first session I was just amazed at how beautiful she was and still is. Leia’s family is so wonderful and have become very good friends of mine. I am so glad to be the person to capture all the special moments in her life. Thank you so much Imee for everything and again for inviting Gavin and me to the party. The food was so good! And I will definitely be joining My Gym. =) I can’t wait to see you all again soon.
Enjoy this little sneak peek!

This weekend was super busy for me and kicking it off I got to spend some time with a wonderful family. Their two kids are some of the most well behaved children I’ve ever met and so completely adorable. What a wonderful family, and they looked great too. We had such a good time with these pictures, and I think they turned out really cute. It was refreshing spending my Saturday with such wonderful people! Once I got home though I found myself stressed out in yet more internet problems which finally were resolved once and for all today (hopefully). I also came to find out that even more email than I thought has gone missing. Once I posted my last post letting people know of my email problems I got so many calls from people that thought I had ignored them but then realized that maybe their email was just lost amongst cyber space. I will be contacting my web server and hopefully be getting all the problems resolved. But for now one of the best ways to reach me is the business phone number or my cell phone at 909.996.5110. And I promise all this isn’t a story to buy me more time with things during the holiday rush. I am doing my best to meet good timelines despite my evil internet company.
Without further ado……
Enjoy the sneak peek Falk family!! =)

I know, I’m a day late. =(
My internet has been down for a couple days so I wasn’t able to blog or answer email. So everyone that has emailed me please accept my sincere appologies for not responding yet. For a while now (actually forever) I’ve been having email troubles where I don’t get some things or my responses don’t go out but if you ever don’t hear from me please feel free to call me anytime on my cell phone which is listed in the contact section of the website. Sometimes my email box gets full and doesn’t notify me for days so I miss out on lots of emails. Also, the last two days my 866 number has been down because it’s linked to the cable internet. If you’ve left a message know that I will be frantically returning calls and emails today and tomorrow.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! My two year old son went Trick-or-Treating for the first time and he loved it! I haven’t had time to upload any pictures from yesterday yet but I took this one of my littlest man a few days ago so I thought I would share. It’s one of my new favorite pictures!
