I’m so sorry to everyone who has emailed me.  It’s been a week now that I’ve been without email and I’m really going crazy.  I’ve always had wierd problems with my email but It’s never been this bad.  I haven’t received any emails for over a week, so please don’t think I’m ignoring you, I just don’t know you’re trying to reach me.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to call me on my personal cell phone at 909.996.5110.  I will post when the problem is resolved, hopefully that won’t be too much longer and I’m hoping that the emails that have been sent can be retreived.  This whole situation is really bumming me out, but my baby’s little smiling face always brightens my day.  Hopefully it will brighten yours too. =)

It is such an honor to be asked to be on the cover of Peekaboo Picks again. My photos have been on the cover 6 times but this is the first time that it’s been my little Zakk. There is no better way to kick off the new year than with a super cute baby boy.  Today I had a session with Jackson who just turned six months old.  He actually was born exactly one month after my little guy but he’s a lot bigger.  He was even trying to crawl while I was shooting him, which his parents said was the first time he has ever done that.  My website says, “don’t miss the moments” and I felt so lucky to be able to capture Jackson’s first attempt to crawl.  I’m sure the next time I see him he will be running all over the place.

Okay, I know I said that a special would be coming soon . . . so here it is.

I will be offering half off the session fee if you book your session before Valentines Day.  All packages will also be 10% if you pay on or before the date of your session, this special will end March 1st.

I will also be running a fun little contest with this special.  The first person to book will receive a free Timi and Leslie diaper bag (valued at $150).   The second person to book will receive a brag book containing some of the photos from your session.  And the third person to book will receive a surprise bag of goodies for your little one.

This year Sweet Baby Photo will be going through many changes.  Unfortunately, we are also changing our prices.  I know it’s not one of the fun changes but it’s something that has to be done.  The good news is that I will be running a special to balance out the price change, so stay tuned for details on that.  You can see our new prices by clicking here.  The new prices are already in effect and started on the first of January.  If you have a session already booked for January and February you will not be charged a higher session fee, although the package prices will be as shown in the 2008 price list.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime.  The biggest change is that there will be no more a la carte pricing, prints and products will now be sold in the packages shown on the new price list.  Also, I will no longer be doing online proofing.  Proofing will now be done in person unless you live too far away for me to do a personal proofing session.

This year has been so amazing for me!  I want to give a big thank you to all the clients that I’ve had this past year.  I’ve met so many wonderful people this year who I hope I will be friends with for many more years to come.  My business has grown in so many ways as well.  To kick 2007 off I did some commercial work for Timi and Leslie, Best of Chums, Little Show Offs and Glama Jama.  Not only was shooting for those companies a lot of fun but it was also my first break into the commercial business, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to do that.  My photos are now in catalogs, advertisments, and even on dress tags in major retail stores.  I also did a photo shoot for Leslie Newton handbags which was a blast, and if you know me you know how much I love handbags!  Also this year my images were featured on about 6 covers for Peekaboo Picks Weekly magazine and on one issue of Tot Trends Weekly magazine.  I just began working on the photography for Bath Desserts and one of my images from that was featured on the  Womens Day Magazine web page.

This year I also launched my second website with the expansion of my portfolio and I invested in new packaging, a new logo, and new business cards.  I’ll be going into 2008 with everything all together and matching perfectly.  It took a while to get there and lots of money invested but I love all my new packaging and the look of all the new materials.  I hope all of you will like it as well.  Another new thing that came this year was the opening of our studio office space.  In 2008 I will be meeting all my clients there for the post session viewing.  There will no longer be online proofing, I will be doing everything personally with my clients so that I can show you all the different options that Sweet Baby Photo offers.  Beleive me, you won’t want to miss out!

The biggest thing that happened this year was the birth of my second son, Zakk Antonio Palos.  He is such a good baby and I am so thankful to have been blessed with him in my life.   Zakk is 100% the highlight of 2007!
