I am proud to show off my recent photos for Timi and Leslie in their newest catalog.  It is always exciting to see my work in print and to be able to share it with all of my blog readers!

Sorry for bragging - I just couldn’t resist. 

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing these two darling kids.  I know their parents because they are the owners of a local boutique.  If you are local check out O2B Me Kids in Rancho Cucamonga, I hear they are having a huge sale right now, and let me tell you they have the cutest baby and kids clothes ever.  Their kids are such sweet hearts and I am so glad to have finally met them.  The hard thing about photographing brothers and sisters together is that sometimes they don’t really like to get close to each other and hug each other.  But I didn’t have that problem this time, these two were so loving to each other and have such a good relationship.  It made me really excited to have my baby because I just hope that my boys will have that great of a relationship.

I have been working so hard on getting the brand spanking new Sweet Baby Photo website ready.  I am so excited that it is almost finished.  I’m just completing some final touches and we will be ready to go live to the public.  In celebration of the new site I am going to have a little contest.  The contest is that whoever can find me the most colorful and unique prop or outfit for your baby or child to be photographed in will win a free 30 minute mini session.  The contest will begin now and it will run until May 10th.  Please email your entries (a photograph of your entry) to erin@sweetbabyphoto.com.

This is one of my favorite little girls to photograph.  Today was our second session and while she did complain a little bit about possible bug sightings and sticks on the ground, she toughed it out to get the cutest shots ever.  My new website will be launching very soon and you will see Kailah’s pictures all over it.  But for now here is a little sneak peek.  It was hard to choose which ones to post here, but I couldn’t post them all or there would be no surprises when the new website is live.

The story behind this photo is actually kinda funny.  We had to be very sneaky because right behind this window was the Dean of the college that we snuck into to take these pictures.  It’s a good thing she was working on the computer with her back to the window.  Kailah was so good and we got the shot quickly and got outta there.

My good friend Mary had her baby last month, you may remember Mary from her maternity pictures a few posts ago (with the ice cream). I couln’t believe that it took a whole month before we were able to get together so that I could take pictures of her sweet little baby girl. She is so beautiful and such a good baby. Even though we couldn’t get her to fall asleep she looked beautiful with her eyes open and didn’t fuss about the picture taking at all.

I absolutely love when babies are six and seven months old. When they just begin sitting up by themselves and don’t crawl or run away. I am currently in my eighth month of pregnancy and I just love being able to sit and take my time rather than running around. Don’t get me wrong, I usually love that, but I really needed today’s session. Aidan was such a wonderful model and so seriously cute. I think I said, “Oh my gosh, he’s so cute” about a million times within two hours. Aidan’s parents are the creators of Peekaboo Picks Magazine which is an awesome online magazine. My photos have been featured on the cover three times and hopefully will be seen much more. If you are not subscribes to Peekaboo Picks go check out the website and sign up, it’s completely free.

Can you beleive that this little one is only 8 weeks old? She looked like she was three months old! Tatum is such a sweet baby and didn’t even fuss about the camera, in fact she loved the camera. There was barely a moment where I had to try to get her to look my way, she was just staring into the camera the whole session. I can’t wait to see Tatum again for our next session.

Here are some of my favorites from today.  It was hard to choose because there were so many adorable pictures.  I’m sure it will be hard for mom and dad to pick a favorite too.

Well… I made it back from the WPPI convention in Las Vegas. It’s been a very long week for me but I’m glad it’s over and life can get back to normal. I have so many new products that I can’t wait to start using. I will try to post some samples here on the blog so you can see what I’m planning to use. The most exciting thing I have to share is that Sweet Baby Photo will soon have a brand spanking new website. I’m working on getting some new images taken so that I have mostly brand new photos to use. Of course there will still be some old favorites though.

Here is a picture that I took of my little boy today for his bedroom. I’m doing a fish theme so I wanted to get some cute fish pictures of him. This is one of my new favorite images, and you will definately be seeing it on the new website, which will debute sometime before June first. Stay tuned for more details.
