As a photographer I am always looking for ways to improve my skill and my business. Therefore, I attend workshops and seminars throughout the year. From March 25-28th my husband and I will be in Las Vegas attending the WPPI convention This convention is huge and has many seminars taught by amazing photographers throughout the world. It’s going to be such a great experience for me because I’ll get to meet all the photographers that I have looked up to and that have inspired me to become the photographer that I am. I hope to bring back new knowledge and products. The convention also has a tradeshow that lasts the whole week and has vendors from all over, this will help me to learn about all the new wonderful products that I’ll be able to share with my clients. I am so excited and will definately post here about all the new wonderful vendors that I find.

I mean Curly Morgan, but all I can think of when I look at her hair is Curly Sue. Morgan was such a pleasure to shoot today. She is absolutely beautiful!!! I could have stayed at her house all day because she was a perfect model and didn’t even tire of me taking pictures of her. She even tolerated two photographers because I invited another photographer, Ashley McNamara, to come shoot with me today.

My first baby is growing so fast and my second is on the way even faster. Today my little one turned 18 months old. When I look at him now I see a little boy, not a baby. Where did the time go? I know this is said a million times, but time really does go way too fast, especially this time when your children are little.

This one is so exciting for me for a couple reasons. One reason is that this online magazine is super popular and many wonderful photographers have had their photos of the cover. Second is because it’s a photo that is dear to me that I took of my son a few months ago. I am so giddy right now, I just saw the cover online for the first time about 30 minutes ago. That’s all I have to say about this little girl. I have so many pictures I love of her but not enough time to go through everything. So here are just a couple of my favorite close ups. I feel so bad for not posting this sooner since our photo shoot was one week ago. I just finally got my computer reconnected. My floors are done and they look beautiful! But now I realize that there are so many more things we need to do to the house. Anyway, enough chat, here are a couple pics of miss Kayla.

Things are not looking good right now in the business world of Sweet Baby Photo. Unfortunately I’ve lost all power to my computer. Yikes, right!? Well, it’s really not as bad as it sounds. I’m having my floors redone in my home and we had to move completely out. We have no computer, no phone lines (don’t worry though, they’re forwarded to my cell so your call will come through), and no cable. Worst of all we have to eat out every day and night - well, okay that’s not so bad.
Just to let you know things will be back up and running on Wednesday (we hope). I really didn’t expect this to be such a big deal but I guess I didn’t realize how much there is to putting in tile flooring.
I’ll post pics of my new beautiful floor when it’s all done. And hopefully I’ll be saying that it was worth losing my computer for.
