Almost one

This little guy is turning one in just a few weeks so mom and dad wanted to get some first birthday shots and Christmas shots.  I always love shooting one year olds, they are so sweet and smiley.  I love them!  What I love even more is when they have adorable clothes for the pictures.  I was so excited when I heard what mom brought, a cowboy hat and boots.  I had the perfect spot right down the street for the little buckaroo pictures and I have to say that they couldn’t have come out more perfect.  I wish I could share more but it’s past midnight and I’m too sleepy now to even see the computer screen straight so four is all I can post tonight.

Enjoy the sneak peek. =)

I think this was definitely one of my favorites!

The family!

As if they stepped out of a magazine. . .

When I first spoke to Stacey she told me that her back yard had been featured in OC Living, so right away I had a feeling that this would be a great session. I knew that at the very least I would have a great background to shoot the pictures, but little did I know that these little ones would be so adorable. I told Stacey that her family was a perfect “magazine” family. I had so much fun at this session, thank you again Stacey for letting me capture the pictures of your babies, I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek.

Ocean and Family

First I have to appologize for not posting this sooner.  It was so hard to choose images to blog because there were so many that I loved.  Second I just have to say how much I love one year olds!  They are so much fun and so full of life.  Ocean will be turning one very soon and will be having a big first birthday bash which is why I was called out for a photo shoot.  This family was so much fun to shoot especially the two darling boys.

Enjoy the sneak peek!

The Borggreve Family

Today I shot the cutest family out at the beach.  I love shooting at the beach, it’s always so much fun and so pretty.  I can’t believe that this was my only beach session this holiday season.  Everyone has been wanting something with lots of greenery but I have to admit that my favorite location will always be the beach.  I had a great time with this family and these two little boys are just so adorable and sweet.  Even though they didn’t really want their pictures taken we bribed them into getting some really great shots.  =)  Sorry this is a little sneak peek but again, I am so tired, it’s 1:30 in the morning and I have two sick babies.  Tomorrow is not going to be a fun day for me.

And another family!

Back to back families this weekend.  =)  I found the coolest new location for this session.  We headed down to the train station in Claremont and it was so much fun.  It was actually my first time at a train station and actually I’ve never even seen the Metro Link close up before.  This little girl had never seen it either and was so excited!  She was a little scared to be on the tracks and I must admit that I was too but she did a great job.  The last shot is her expression when she first saw the train coming.  I love how happy she looks!

More fun family sessions!

I have been having so much fun lately with all the family sessions.  It’s so great seeing families get all dressed up and happy to be together.  Or at least pretend to be happy to be together.  It’s so funny that when kids reach a certain age they just really don’t like to have their picture taken.  My kids reach that age once they are born because I shove the camera in their faces every two seconds.  The good thing is that with everyone elses kids I can get smiles out of them because they aren’t tired of seeing the camera and aren’t completely sick of my jokes and funny faces.  These kids today were great sports about smiling for me, it didn’t last long but just enough time to get some really good shots.  I’m looking forward to seeing you guys soon, I hope you like the pictures!

The Gaytan Family… extended

I am a little bit behind in Blogging, It’s just been a crazy Holiday season so far.  In between shooting and processing I’m trying to make time for my own family which can sometimes be hard.  Usually my only time to work is after the little ones go to sleep.  Well last night after I put my 5 month old down in his crib I told myself I was only going to lay down for five minutes and then head down to the computer to work.  The next thing I know I was waking up in the middle of the night because of a screaming two year old who wanted a bottle, or “baba” as he calls it.  Now, even though I got 11 hours of sleep last night (which is the most I’ve gotten in years) I still feel exhausted today.

Anyway, here is a little sneak peek of the Gaytan family.  Plus grandma and brother and brother’s girlfriend.  =)  It was a fun session with one of my favorite families!  I’m so sorry it’s three days late guys, I promise that your gallery won’t be late.   Enjoy!!

The Falk Family

This weekend was super busy for me and kicking it off I got to spend some time with a wonderful family.  Their two kids are some of the most well behaved children I’ve ever met and so completely adorable.  What a wonderful family, and they looked great too.  We had such a good time with these pictures, and I think they turned out really cute.  It was refreshing spending my Saturday with such wonderful people!  Once I got home though I found myself stressed out in yet more internet problems which finally were resolved once and for all today (hopefully).  I also came to find out that even more email than I thought has gone missing.  Once I posted my last post letting people know of my email problems I got so many calls from people that thought I had ignored them but then realized that maybe their email was just lost amongst cyber space.  I will be contacting my web server and hopefully be getting all the problems resolved.  But for now one of the best ways to reach me is the business phone number or my cell phone at 909.996.5110.  And I promise all this isn’t a story to buy me more time with things during the holiday rush.  I am doing my best to meet good timelines despite my evil internet company.

Without further ado……

Enjoy the sneak peek Falk family!! =)

Vargas Family

This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting family portraits for the Vargas family.  They are such a great family and very brave to go out with the Santa Ana winds in full effect.  Luckily in Claremont it was barely blowing at all.  As soon as I drove back to my house though the winds were crazy and blew a branch right in front of my car.  Then when I was at the grocery store someones car door slammed into mine leaving a huge dent on the side and once I got home my fence blew down and our dog almost ran away.   I hope everyone in the Rancho Cucamonga area is staying inside and hopefully this wind will pass soon.  My prayers are with everyone who has had to deal with all the fires, I hope that there will not be anymore lost homes and that no one else will be injured.

Enjoy this sneak peek of this adorable family! =)
